INFANT

Our infant room is created especially for working parents, starting at the age of 6 weeks. Parents will be pleased to find a nurturing environment that will be as close to a mothers pampering touch as possible. The Montessori teacher follows the infant’s individual schedule with tender love and care.

The infant remains in this group until they are walking.

The teacher child ratio is ¼.

In our preschool classroom the child will further develop and expand their beautiful minds, covering all the areas of development in depth. The Montessori teacher will provide a structured concrete scope for the abstract learning, in all the different areas, such as Mathematics, Language, Cultural Extensions, Geography, History, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Art, Music, Sensorial and the Practical Life Exercises. To educating the whole child without effort and fatigue, the teacher is cultivating the child’s ability to express themselves and to think with clarity.

The preschool classroom has mixed ages range 2- 5 Years.

The teacher child ratio is 1/12.

Our kindergarten classroom educates the elementary child greatly expanding their knowledge. In a research style of learning the elementary child work in small groups on a variety of subjects, developing their reasoning abilities, expanding their imagination and engaging the intellect. The child has at this age a drive to understand the universe and their place in it. Their capacity to assimilate all aspects of culture is boundless. The Montessori teacher will foster a feeling of connectives to all of humanity, and encourage the natural desire to make their contribution to the world.

The child will stay in the kindergarten classroom until the age of 6.

The teacher child ratio is 1/12.   

WALKING INFANT

Our walking infant group prepares the child for the Montessori classroom. The child is still on their individual schedule but rather than a classroom, it is a nurturing environment where the young child will experience their first structured contact with other children. The child will nap on a cot and start their potty training in this group. The Montessori teacher will cultivate the coordination, primary motor skills, independence and language.

The walking infant remains in this age group until they are 18 months.

The teacher child ratio is ¼.

TODDLER

In our toddler class your child will be introduced to the whole Montessori curriculum. This will further develop their senses as well as their physical, mental, spiritual and social skills. The absorbent minds of this age group will also have potty training as a daily routine, all observed and guided by the Montessori teacher.

The toddler remains in this age group until they are 30 months.

The teacher child ratio is 1/6.
